The finish and the pool

The finish line is graduation. The trade that brings a curve's raise to 85 SOL completes it, and the runner crosses.

Crossing the line

The completing trade's block time is the finish. The finish time runs from the launch's first block to that one, and it is what the results and the record book show. When two runners finish in the same block, their places follow their order in the block.

A buy that would carry the raise past 85 SOL fills the curve exactly: it takes what the curve needs and no more.

Into the pool

Once a curve is complete, Derby's crank migrates it into a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. The 20% of supply held back from the curve pairs with the 85 SOL raised, and 100% of the pool's liquidity is locked, permanently. Trading carries on in the pool at 1.75%, from the same ticket on the launch's page.

Every launch's distance: the opening fee at the gate, 80% of supply sold along the curve, the quarter marks, the finish, and the locked pool beyond it.

After the finish

A runner that has finished rests past the line in white heat with its place, and stays on the track with its heat. Its page keeps its whole race, from its first trade to the completing one, beside its chart, trades and holders.
